Through my reading and close affinity to biological studies I was interested in the literal understanding of medical and colloquial terms for physical illnesses. 

This ironical take on what is essentially made up of pain and sacrifice for the patient was taken in the view that even patients going through diseases are human and still have their persona, which many seem to forget and only identify them with their physical illness. This persona may still be induced to look upon its own situation with a humoristic eye, which is presently dealt with through my photography.
